FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles have held their final on-field preparations for their preseason game.
The teams held walkthroughs after two days of joint practices before Friday night’s matchup.
Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin sat out Thursday’s session with a hamstring injury sustained the previous day. He doesn’t think it’s serious.
Tom Brady is expected to play for the Patriots after sitting out the 23-6 loss in the preseason opener to the Washington Redskins when Ryan Mallett and Jimmy Garoppolo played quarterback. The Eagles lost their first preseason game, 34-28 to the Chicago Bears.
Philadelphia quarterback Nick Foles had an outstanding practice on Tuesday after struggling in that loss. His two interceptions matched his total for all of last season.
